Nordic Match Klaus Björkgren has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Finnish Business Council Shanghai (FBCS). FBCS is the largest Finnish business community outside Finland, with over 150 members.

Klaus joined Nordic Match in June 2019 with the role to build Nordic Match’s business in Finland. Previously, Klaus has  worked with Handelsbanken in Hong Kong and Business Finland in Guangzhou. He holds a M.Sc. from Lund University School of Economics, and speaks Finnish, Swedish, English and Mandarin Chinese.

“It is an honour to join the FBCS Board of Directors. The organization is an important platform for Finnish companies in China, and I look forward to work with the Board to expand the network”, Klaus said.

These risks are still present, but once we identify the equity story that can create value on both sides, we see that Chinese business owners are extremely growth oriented”, Klaus commented.

“We have built a strong financial advisory team at Nordic Match that specializes in the Sino-Nordic market. And I will leverage the new role with FBCS to further bridge the opportunities and expand the Finland-China business community,” Klaus summed.
