On February 23rd, Nordic Match and Ashurst Shanghai hosted a roundtable discussion, where Nordic Match Senior Associate Sean Ni, and Ashurst Shanghai Counsel Daniel Öhvall presented a number of questions that often come up in M&A transactions in China.

The discussion was joined by leading Nordic corporates and covered topics from M&A as market entrance, deal terms, negotiation tactics and execution of the deal.

Important topics raised during the discussion included considerations between acquiring asset vs. equity, and how to bridge the market knowledge gap between headquarters and China.

The roundtable discussion was followed by a webinar session on March 25th for Nordic corporate headquarters to participate.
